I am gaining European work experience, and am
currently based in London. Since I've been in the U.K., I've
worked in the BT
research labs, at Martlesham Heath.
Back in Australia, I was a project leader in Mobility Solutions
within the
Telstra
Research Labs (TRL), in Clayton,
Victoria. I looked after a team of about half a dozen people that
covered mobile
technologies including WAP, M-Commerce, WLAN, J2ME, and BREW.
My academic qualifications are in the area of information technology /
computer science, and philosophy. I have First Class Honours in a Bachelor
of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (U.W.A.) and a Bachelor of Letters
(Monash). There's nothing wrong with a broad education!
For a more comprehensive overview of my career, see my
Curriculum Vitae. To read some of my work, see my
publications.
I've also developed some software utilities to convert
between MIDI and ProTracker (MOD) music formats. They're quite old now.
